A New Journey
Welcome to my page! This will be a work in process, just like me. XD
I made this page to share my story and knowledge with people who might be having the same struggles as me.
I grew up overweight. I was the fat kid in class, ALWAYS. I was severely bullied in middle school and had few friends. In high school it turned around somewhat, but I was still over weight and very unhappy with how I looked. I was weighing in at around 250 between middle and high school.
It wasn't until college I started to actually lose some weight. I jogged lightly, took up yoga, and learned more about nutrition. I even changed my major to nutrition! A lost a good amount of weight and got down to around 170s.
I then got into the wrong crowd and gave up on my healthy living. Went out partying every night, staying up too late, eating nothing but junk, and slowly started gaining weight again. My weight shot back into the 190s.
I went on and got out of that scene. I started eating better again and working on myself. I found my husband and was happy with my new weight of 160.
I went into teaching and found it to be severely stressful. Of course I ate my emotions and just felt too tired to do anything else when I got home. My weight yo-yoed between 155-175 for the next four years. I think I gained 10 pounds my first year of teaching.
Things started changing for me again when I decided to eat vegan. I was around 155 when I started and dropped 5 pounds just from changing my diet. This was October 2015, so I'm a rather new vegan who is still striving to eat the best I can. My diet isn't perfectly vegan all the time but I'm working on it, just like me.

I'm on to a new chapter with Beachbody and improving myself everyday. I completed one round of 21 Day Fix and am now following 21 Day Fix Extreme. I'm loving the 30 minute home workouts, portion controlled clean eating, and drinking Shakeology every day. A big boost to completing the program was a challenge group. I joined a challenge group for daily accountability and motivation to keep pressing play. I loved it so much I became a Beachbody coach!
